Monday nights are Songwriter’s Night, which Miller will host.

Tonight, Friday and Saturday — The Aaron Miller Band will perform at Illusions in Ironton. Tonight is Jam Night, which will be hosted by AMB.

HOOTIE & The BLOWFISH

Aug. 14, 7:30 p.m. — Grammy award winning band, Hootie & the Blowfish, will perform at The Carson Center. The opening act is Danielle Howle.

Tickets range from $25 to $150, with top priced tickets including a private reception prior to the performance. Thirty reception attendees will be invited for a brief “Meet and Greet” with the band prior to the concert.

The POINTER SISTERS

Sept. 29 — The Pointer Sisters will headline this year’s 9th annual Rosemary Clooney Concert in historic Maysville. Opening the event will be the Louisville Male Choir.

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner to be served at 6 p.m. The show will begin shortly after 7:30 p.m.

SOUTHERN PRIDE BAND

SPLIT DECISION BAND

Friday and Saturday, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. — This variety dance band will perform at the Ashland American Legion Post No. 76, on the corner of 20th Street and Carter Avenue.

Non-members are welcome, but must apply for a club card at the door and must be 21 years old. The kitchen will be open for dining both nights until 9 p.m.

Band members are Mike Allen, lead vocals and lead guitar; Mitch Moore, lead guitar, lead vocals and keyboards; Bob Cooper, bass guitar and lead vocals; and Steve Wurts, drums and DJ.
