HOLY-PALOOZA

Saturday, noon — An all day concert event sponsored by Durbin Nazarene Youth Group, this event will feature live music, free food, free giveaways, a cornhole tournament and a special speaker, Jason Hutchinson.

Guests scheduled to perform include Jimmy Clark, Given Grace, Shawna McCown, Garner Baptist Youth Band and Mark Rose. The headlining act will be Our Heart’s Hero at 7 p.m.

July 28, 7:30 p.m. — Legendary Motown singer and songwriter, Smokey Robinson, will perform at The Carson Center.

Tickets range from$40 to $150, with top priced tickets including a private reception prior to the performance with a brief appearance by Mr. Robinson.

SPLIT DECISION BAND

Friday and Saturday, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. — This variety dance band will perform at the Ashland American Legion Post No. 76, on the corner of 20th Street and Carter Avenue.

Non-members are welcome, but must apply for a club card at the door and must be 21 years old. The kitchen will be open for dining both nights until 9 p.m.
