Feb. 23, 10 p.m. — Miller will perform an acoustic show at Harry’s in Lexington.

Mondays — Miller will perform acoustic shows at Loser’s in Nashville.

Tuesdays — Miller will perform acoustic shows at The Stage in Nashville.

ACTC CHILDREN’S THEATRE

Today and Friday, 8 p.m. — The group will present “Once on This Island Jr.” in the Ashland Community and Technical College J.B. Sowards Theatre at the College Drive Campus.

The production features third to ninth grade students in a musical adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Little Mermaid.”

Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students, seniors and groups of 10 or more. Reserve tickets through the bookstore, (606) 326-2014.



BACKSTAGE PLAYERS

March 8, 9 and 10, 7 p.m. — “Disney’s High School Musical” will be presented at the Paramount Arts Center in Ashland.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for seniors and students, and may be purchased at Ticketmaster outlets.



BLAZER THEATRE

ARTS SOCIETY

The group is proud to present the romantic comedy, “Bell, Book and Candle,” by John van Druten. Performances will be today through Saturday at 8 p.m. and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Performances will be at the Millennium Center on the campus of Paul G. Blazer High School in Ashland. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens.



CHRIS KITCHEN

Chris Kitchen, jazz/pop guitarist, will perform from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Chimney Corner Café, 1624 Carter Ave.

DWIGHT ICENHOWER

Saturday, 8 p.m. — The nationally recognized Elvis tribute artist will perform a special Valentine’s show, “Love Me Tender,” at the Ariel-Ann Carson Dater Performing Arts Centre.

Reserved seating is available for purchase at the Ariel-Dater Box Office, 428 2nd Ave., Gallipolis, Ohio. Patrons may also call the box office at (740) 446-ARTS (2787). Box office hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Tickets may be purchased on the Ariel Web site at arieltheatre.org.

Reserved tickets range from $15 to $35. The $35 tickets include VIP seating and a catered dinner before the show, served in the Ariel banquet hall. Dinner will be catered by Parkfront Diner and will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m.

ETA

ETA joins forces with the Strangers Band for the month of February. They will perform at Johnny’s Lounge on 4th Avenue in Huntington from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. There is no cover charge.

April 14, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. — ETA will perform at the Flatwoods City Park as part of the all day “Arts in the Park” all day poetry festival, arts and music day.

ETA is Eddie Riffe and Tony Maynard, acoustic.

Feb. 16 and 17, 8 p.m. — The band will perform at the Moose Lodge in Ashland.
