Edith Grace Moore-Clifford 1925-2012

GREENUP — Edith Grace Moore-Clifford, 87, of Flatwoods, passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, in Greenville, S.C.

She was born Oct. 19, 1925, in Adams County, Ohio, to the late John Calvin Moore and Vera Newman Moore.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Charlton, in 1975; her sisters, Doris, Lucille, Ethel, Edna and Mary; a brother, Charles; and three grandsons, Charles Roger, Andrew Charlton and Phillip Wayne.

Survivors include her children, Judy (Craig) Young of Flatwoods, Roger (Iris) Clifford of Ashland, Ron (Ceil) Clifford Of Montgomery, Ala., Elaine (Anthony) Perkins of Midford, Ohio, Wyona (Alain) Niglio of Simpsonville, S.C., and Regina Flaugher of Worthington; her grandchildren, Michael Bays, Angela Riffe, Amanda Bowling, Nancy Clifford, Rachel Clifford, Terri Clifford, Nikki Clifford, Tim Clifford, Erin Burleson, Rob Clifford, Heather Clifford, Jason Brinegar, Jarrod Brinegar, Drew Gillum, Hannah Gillum and Kelly Flaugher; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

As requested by their grandmother, pallbearers will be the grandsons, Tim, Rob, Jason, Jarrod and Drew and grandson-in-law Rick.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec.7, 2012, at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods, with words of comfort delivered by Pastor Jack Lore. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.
