ASHLAND — Addie Delawder Qualls, 69, of Ashland, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.

Addie was born Feb. 23, 1944, in Ironton, Ohio, to the late Lenord and Mertal Stapleton Delawder. Addie was a homemaker and the wife of George A. Qualls of Ashland.

In addition to her parents, Addie was preceded in death by a son, Jason Qualls; a granddaughter, Isabella Morrison; and brothers and sisters.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children and their spouses, George and Debbie Qualls of Raceland, Debbie Qualls of Ashland and Teena and Terry Gannon of South Point, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Josh, Amy, Tisha, Jonda, Hannah, Nick and Zack; eight great-grandchildren, Taylor, Faith, Kenzie, Lexie, Lakin, Arteyu, Kaylee and Kaden; and five sisters, Vdel, Libby, Janie, Stella and Edna.

Funeral services for Addie will be conducted at noon Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at Hilltop Christian Baptist Church by Minister Butch Crumb. Burial will be in the Qualls Family Cemetery in Boyd County.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today, Oct. 1, 2013, in the chapel at Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland.
