Glenna Gillstrap, 71, of Grayson, died Wednesday evening at her residence.
She was born June 27, 1942, in Carter City, a daughter of the late Clifford and Lorene Craycraft Meenach. She was a homemaker and mother, and was of the Lutheran faith.
She was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Brittany and Ayden.
She is survived by her husband, Charles; two sons, Charles Gillstrap Jr. of Lexington and Charles Lynn Gillstrap of Grayson; four daughters, Patricia Meenach and Robin Greer, both of Ashland, Jacqueline Bastos of Lakeland, Fla., and Agnes L. (Joseph) Bell-Allen of Grayson; two brothers, Kenneth Meenach of Catlettsburg and Leonard Meenach of Warrington, W.Va.; two sisters, Hazel Brister of Brookhaven, Miss., and Shelby Bush of Barboursville, W.Va.; eight grandchildren, Jessica, Sarah and Angelia Greer, Tiffany Priest, Jessica Bustos-Cole, Alexander Wildman, Jaya Pelaez and M. Leighton Warren Jr.; and three great-grandchildren, Mercutio Lee-Blake Ellison, Nolan Vega and Aubrey D. Cole.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson.
