ASHLAND — Myron Leon Houston, 48, of Ashland, passed away March 25, 2013, in King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.  

He was born in Jasper, Ala., on July 8, 1964, to the late Roy Cosby and Maxine Mosley Houston Cosby of Wheelwright.   

He served in the U.S. National Guard and was of the Baptist faith.

He is also survived by his loving wife, Nancy Withrow Houston of Ashland; daughters Yalonda Donyelle Houston of Catlettsburg, Iesha Nicole Houston of Rush and Tabitha Shantae Houston of Ashland; a stepson, Adam Mullins of Ironton, Ohio; grandchildren Alexandar Payne and Marlee Mullins; siblings Phillis Smith (Stan), Anita Taylor (Joel), William Houston (Shirleen), Shawn Cosby (Kathleen), Roy Cosby (Nora), Hardy Simms, Regina Scott, Angela Simms, Jo Carol Watts (Larry) and George Simms. He is also survived by a host of loving nephews, nieces, extended family members and friends.  

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by Suffragan Bishop Elzy Thomas.
