GREENUP — Rosemary Walters, 80, of Wurtland, went to be with the Lord Thursday, May 9, 2013, at her home.

Mrs. Walters was born Nov. 29, 1932, in Wurtland, a daughter of the late Robert Gumbert and Mable Patton Gumbert Munro.

She attended the Church of the Nazarene in Wurtland.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene P. Walters; one infant brother, Robert Gumbert; one infant sister, Sharlene Gumbert; and one sister, Phyllis Jean Campbell.

She is survived by two daughters, Denise (David) Hayden of Wheelersburg, Ohio, and Cheryl (David) Baker of Greenup; six grandchildren, Erin (Adam) Armstrong of Madisonville, Tenn., Lisa (Ernie) Whisman of Rogers, Joseph (Amy) Hayden of Lexington, Danielle (Gabe Winbauer) Nolan of Portland, Ore., Jamie (Joseph Filiatreau) Hall of Georgetown and Allie Stockham of Greenup; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2013, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Pastor Scott Hill and Brother Tom Heaberlin. Entombment will be in Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg, Ohio.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and one hour before the service on Monday at the funeral home.
