GREENUP — Charles Chester Conley, 75, of Flatwoods, died Friday, July 26, 2013, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.

He was born April 17, 1938, in Paintsville, a son of the late Lunda and Mary Castle Conley.

Charles had been employed by the City of Ashland as a bus driver and he was a U. S. Marine veteran.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three children and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by two grandchildren, Destiny and Radle Conley of Bombay, Fla.; one brother, Doug Conley of Catlettsburg; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.  

The funeral services will begin at noon Monday at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova, W.Va., with the Rev. Frank Hulett officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East in Greenup County and the American Legion Post 93 of Kenova will conduct military graveside rites.

The family will receive friends after 11 a.m. Monday, July 29, 2013, at the funeral home.
