ASHLAND — Betty Perez Davis, 80, of Ashland, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013.

Betty was born Feb. 23, 1933, in Washington, Pa., to the late Jose Perez and Rose Stavinsky Perez Conley.  

She was a member of Second Baptist Church of Ashland, where she taught The Ruth Sunday School Class and was a member of the Women’s Missionary Society.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Eugene Davis, of Ashland, whom she married Oct. 1, 1953; a daughter, Deborah Davis Musser (Rick) of Ashland; two sons, Charles Fredrick Davis (Janet) of Lincolnton, N.C., and Brian Eugene Davis (Lisa) of Rush; eight grandchildren,  Jennifer Musser White (Mark) of North Wales, Pa., Robert Matthew Musser and Scott David Musser, both of Ashland, Shannon Michael Davis of Beaufort, S.C., Caleb Nathaniel Davis and Braiden Isaiah Davis, both of Rush, Ashley Evans Burgin (Michael) of Maiden, N.C., and Duane Lee Evans (Missy) of South Point, Ohio; four great-grandsons, Hayden Michael Burgin, Paxton Gauge Burgin, Billy Edwin White and Deagan Lee Evans; and numerous extended family and friends.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Second Baptist Church in Ashland by Pastor Ed Caudill. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens in South Point.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood, and at other times at 3649 Floyd St., Ashland, 41102.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty’s memory may be made to Second Baptist Church, 4950 Williams Ave., Ashland, KY  41101.
