RACELAND — Juanita Lewis Frazier, 74, of Raceland, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, with her loving husband by her side, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.

Mrs. Frazier was born Dec. 8, 1938, in Carter City, a daughter of the late Martin Simon and Beatrice Smith Lewis.

Juanita was a Christian and attended First Church of the Nazarene in Flatwoods.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Edward Lewis, Martin Lewis Jr. and Homer Lewis; and two sisters, Kathleen Mullins and Chloanna Lewis.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, James S. Frazier; a son, Michael and his wife, Tammy Frazier, of Russell; a daughter, Anita Frazier-Brooks of Russell; three sisters, Ruth S. Stamper of Carter City, Betty Frazier of Boyd County and Mary Zornes of Dayton, Ohio; four grandchildren, Luke Frazier, Samuel Austin Frazier, Jacob Brooks and Leah Beth Frazier; and two great-grandchildren, Samuel Aaron Frazier and Addison Frazier.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Brother Bill Burnett and Bob Daniels. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods.

Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
