Louella Perkins, 88, of Webbville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, in Wurtland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born March 2, 1924, in Genoa, W.Va., a daughter of the late Willard and Emma Cooksey.
She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Thurman Adams; and four brothers, Earl, Benton, Dalton and Landon Cooksey.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Wayne Perkins; her four children, Thurlie (Carroll) Knapp, Barbara (David) Robinson, Noah Perkins and Bonnie Howard; her grandson, Michael (Jolene) Perkins; her granddaughter, Crystal Smith; four great-grandchildren, Ryan, Rachel and Rebecca Smith and Jodi Perkins; sisters Eloise Griffith and Shelby Hall; brothers Roland G. Cooksey, Estill Cooksey and Elwood Cooksey; and a host of special cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m.Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Young Funeral Home in Louisa by the Rev. Mike Roberts. Burial will be in Perkins Family Cemetery in Webbville.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
