Wade B. Womack - 1935-2013

GREENUP — Wade B. Womack, 77, of Riverside Drive in Greenup, departed this life to live in his heavenly home on Jan. 18, 2013. He was visiting his daughter in Neptune Beach, Fla., when he unexpectedly passed away.  

He was born Dec. 31, 1935, in Greenup, to Wade and Cynthia Diller Smith Womack.  

He served in the U.S. Army and graduated from Morehead State University. Wade was a retired principal with the Greenup County Board of Education.

He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Bill, Phillip, Paul “Cokie” and Eddie Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Tackett Womack; a son, Michael (Anna); daughters Lynne (David) and Susan (Rebecca); a granddaughter, Kyla; a twin brother, Ward Maynard Womack; and a brother, Jack Smith.  

He was a great husband, father, grandfather and man who will be missed tremendously.

There will be no formal funeral service.
