Margaret Bruce Sterrett 1921-2013

GREENUP — Margaret Bruce Sterrett, 92, passed peacefully Tuesday morning in Bradenton, Fla.

Mrs. Sterrett was born March 16, 1921, in Ironton, Ohio, a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Sites Bruce.

Raised Peggy Bruce in Greenup and Ironton, Ohio, she was a loving wife to Jim Sterrett who passed away in 2004; and was the mother of Tom Sterrett and his wife, Linda, of Bradenton.

She is survived by one sister, Helen Meadows of Huber Heights, Ohio, and she was a friend to everyone.

She will be missed, but always remembered by those who knew her.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Brother Wayne Stephenson. Entombment will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods.  

Visitation will be one hour before the service on Saturday.
