Shirley Harlene Bayes 1945-2014

ASHLAND — Shirley Harlene Bayes of Ashland passed away May 3, 2014, in Jo-Lin Health Care Center in Ironton, Ohio.

She was born June 14, 1945, in Greenup County, a daughter of the late Harlan E. and Mary E. Bayes.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Melvin Bayes, and a sister, Iva Jean Bayes.

Surviving are her brother, Paul Wendell (Evelyn) Bayes; a sister, Darlene Bayes (Charles) Temple; a loving niece, Chanel Cotton; and a great-niece, Christina Cotton.

A private graveside service is planned.

There will be no visitation.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Jo-Lin Health Care Center in Ironton for its care of Shirley.
