GREENUP — Kathleen Tolliver Allen, 95, of Lloyd, went to be with her Lord, Friday, May 10, 2013.

She was born Jan. 25, 1918, in Trinity, a daughter of the late Allie Tolliver and Adah Barker Tolliver.

She was a retired Post Master of the Lloyd Post Office. She also was a member of the First Lloyd Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pearl E. Allen, July 12, 1998; a daughter, Carol J. Allen; and a great-granddaughter, Regan Leigh Arnold; two brothers, Alfred Tolliver and Garrett Tolliver.

She is survived by her daughter, Lois Ann (Paul E.) Arnold of Lloyd; two grandsons, Paul E. Arnold Jr. of Russell and David A. Arnold of Wheelersburg, Ohio; four great-grandchildren, Landon, Blake, Raegan and Colson; five sisters, Marcella Osborne of Columbus, Ohio, Van Clausing and Betty Lodwick, both of Portsmouth, Ohio, Jenny Christman of McCormick, S.C., and Phyllis Saxton of Harrison, Ohio; three brothers, Frank Tolliver of Phoenix, Ariz., Bill Tolliver of Huron, Ohio, and Larry Tolliver of Portsmouth.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2013, at Roberson Funeral Home Chapel in South Shore with the Rev. Jim Yates officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery in South Shore.

Friends may call after noon Monday at the funeral home.
