Curtis Ray “Curt” Craft

COLUMBUS, OHIO — Curtis Ray “Curt” Craft, 78, passed away Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, in Mount Carmel West Hospital.

Previously employed by C&O Railroad in Russell as clerk/operator and retired as a truck driver for Ryder Co., Curtis was a U.S. Army veteran and member of American Legion Southway Post 144.   

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Morehart; a son, Jeffrey Craft; parents Maurice and Estie Craft; brothers Maurice Craft Jr. and Hubert Craft of Greenup; and a sister, Donna Adkins of Raceland.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Sue Craft, and a very special granddaughter, Martha Ann Morehart; daughters Kathy (Andy) Randles and Jamie Ann Griffith; sisters Estie Colegrove and Linda Craft, both of Raceland, Bonnie Karrick of Michigan, Hilda Jean Reed of Columbus and Phyllis (Steve) Stoecklin of Canal Winchester, Ohio; brother Gary (Debbie) Craft of South Shore; stepdaughter Barbara Siniff of Columbus; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.  

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, at Woodyard Funeral Home in Columbus, with the funeral at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Dr. William L. Snider will officiate.

Burial will be in Obetz Cemetery.
