RUSSELL — Jeremy Evan Carlisle, 31, of Russell, passed away Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, in our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.

Jeremy was born Jan. 6, 1982, in Atlanta, to Mark Carlisle and Catherine Simpson.

Jeremy worked as a plumbing specialist for Lowes Home Improvement Store. He enjoyed playing drums, singing, music, painting, riding his motorcycle and spending time with family and friends. But most of all, he loved being a father to his two children whom he adored.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack Carlisle, Hugh Ward and Margaret Weaver.

He is also survived by his wife, Patricia Vance Carlisle of Russell; a daughter, Layla Autumn Carlisle; a son, Jackson Evan Carlisle of Russell; a sister, Chelsea Carlisle, and her fiancé, Dean Webb, of Ashland; his stepfather, Jerry Simpson; his father-in-law, Gary Vance; three nieces and a nephew; a close friend, Michael Garvin; and many other friends and family who will miss him dearly.

A graveside service will be at 12:30 p.m. today, Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, by the Rev. Jack Edwards at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon today at Lazear Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the funeral home to assistance with final arrangements.
