Mrs. Beatrice Lucas Dalton, 82, of Greenup, formerly of Harts, W.Va., died on Saturday, April 6, 2013, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell.
Bea was born Dec. 14, 1930, in Harts, W.Va., a daughter of the late John and Jane Walker Lucas.
Bea was a homemaker, after teaching across Lincoln County, W.Va., and owning her own upholstery business. She was also a member of the Eastern Star at the Smith Lodge 775 in Russell.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thurl; Brothers, Billy Lucas Boyce (Pat) Lucas, and John Dale Lucas; sisters, Mona (Arlie) Farley, Mayme (Billy) Toler and Bonnie Lucas.
Survivors include her son, Randy (Colene) Dalton of Worthington; and daughters, Gail (Dave) Mullins of Huntington, W.Va., and Tammy (Larry) Frazier of Greenup; grandchildren, Amy (Rob) Bess of Russell, Dale (Alison) Mullins of Culloden, W.Va., Phillip Dalton and Randi Gail Dalton of Worthington, Becki (Justin) Donnell of Amarillo, Texas, and Brad (Nina) Rose of Tampa, Fla.; 11 great-grandchildren, Riley and Katie Bess, Grant and Kyle Mullins, Colton Donnell, Jayden and Jackson Roark, Hunter and Arabella Rose and Sean and Hayle Dalton. Bea also leaves behind a loving extended family who will cherish her memory and her two precious canine companions whom she loved dearly, Panda and Bambi.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Evans Funeral Home and Cremation in Champanville, W.Va. with Greg Dalton officiating. Burial will follow at the Dalton Cemetery at Little Harts, W.Va.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at the funeral home.
