Patricia A. Gillum 1936-2013

GREENUP — Patricia A. Gillum, 76, of Wurtland, passed away May 9, 2013, in King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.

She was born May 19, 1936, a daughter of the late Emmitt and Hilma Carr Hamilton.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Gillum.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Paul E. Gillum of Wurtland; sons, Keith and Donna Gillum and Paul Shannon Gillum, all of Wurtland; daughter Cheryl and Rick Dean of Greenup; brothers John Hamilton of Wurtland and Emmitt Hamilton Jr. of Shawnee, Kan.; sisters Donna Skaggs of Wurtland, Edna Nickell of South Shore, Jenny Garrett of Flatwoods and Kathy French of Oldtown; grandchildren Joshua Gillum, Brad Gillum, Shannon Gillum, Todd and Ally Gillum, Katie Gillum, Shawn Dean, Andrea Dean and Aaron Dean; and great-grandchildren, Kaden Todd and Addisyn Gillum.

She was a homemaker and was a member of Wurtland Church of God. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and dress making and was an avid Kentucky Wildcat fan.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, May 13, at the Wurtland Church of God with Pastor Henry Montgomery and Pastor Timothy French. Burial will follow in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today, May 12, 2013, and after noon Monday at the church.

Music Family Funeral Home in Greenup is in charge of arrangements.
