MOUTH OF WILSON, VA —
Evelyn Wilson Coffey, 96, of Mouth of Wilson, Va., passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013, at Grayson Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Independence, Va.
She was born Aug. 4, 1916, at Webbville to Hattie Johnson and Charles E. Wilson and was the widow of Murlin H. Coffey.
Surviving are a daughter, Juanita C. Osborne of Mouth of Wilson; two sons, Murlin Coffey Jr. and wife, Myrno, of Elbert, Colo., and Gary Coffey and wife, Jan, of Lakewood, Colo.; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Maxine Harris of Russell, Dorolene Glancy and husband Tom of Cincinnati and Marsenna Whaley of Indianapolis, Ind.; one brother, William Wilson, of Morehead; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home in Independence. The Rev. Doug Halsey will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until time for the funeral service. Interment will be on Wednesday, July 10 in Lambert Family Cemetery in Rush.
