Kenneth “Kenny” Frazier 1946-2014

CARTER — Mr. Kenneth “Kenny” Frazier, 67, of Olive Hill, passed away Thursday evening, Jan. 30, 2014, in the Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

He was born Sept. 12, 1946, in Carter County, a son of the late Edward and Hazel Kiser Frazier.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Hignite.

Kenny retired from UPS as a driver with 29 years of service. He was a member of the Kiser Branch Old Regular Baptist Church since 2005, where he served as a deacon. Kenny was a past member of the Grahn Volunteer Fire Department and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Kenny is survived by his wife of 49 years, Donna Wilburn Frazier; a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Brad McClave of Ashland; a grandson, Micah McClave; two brothers and sisters-in-law, William “Bud” and Betty Frazier and Don and Sharon Frazier, all of Olive Hill; and a sister and two brothers-in-law, Murlene and Matt Adams and Orel Hignite, all of Olive Hill. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly mourn his passing.

The funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at Oney-Henderson Funeral Home in Olive Hill, with Old Regular Baptist ministers officiating. Burial will be in the Gilbert Cemetery on Baker Hill in Grahn.

Friends may visit from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, and until the service hour Tuesday at the funeral home. A church service will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home by the Old Regular Baptist ministers.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Grahn Volunteer Fire Department, 605 Kiser Branch Road, Olive Hill, KY 41164.
