OXFORD, FL —
Marion Lucille Walters Tolliver, 80, of Oxford, Fla., formerly of Ashland, passed away Monday evening, Jan. 20, 2014, in The Villages Regional Hospital in Florida.
She was born April 24, 1933, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Arnold and Hazel Clark Walters. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter O. Tolliver, in 2004 and a sister, Helen Walters.
She was a member of Westwood Wesleyan Church in Ashland before moving to Florida in 2009, where she attended Immanuel Baptist Church in Oxford. Marion was a loving and devoted homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Mike Tolliver and wife Tammy of Morning View and Chuck Tolliver of The Villages; two adopted daughters, Martha and Katinka; sisters Phyllis Haines of Eustis, Fla., and Rosalie Savage of Happy Valley Ore.; a brother, George Raymond Walters of Ashland; and 10 grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at Ashland Cemetery by the Rev. Philip Zimmerman.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Community Hospice, 1480 Carter Ave., Ashland, KY 41101.
