MOUNT STERLING —
Jimmy Lee Castle, 54, of Mt. Sterling, passed away follwing a brief illness on Monday, June 24, 2013, at his residence.
He was born on Jan. 1, 1959, in Ashland, to Emma Savage Castle Miller and the late Lyman Joe Castle.
Jimmy was an insurance agent for Monumental Insurance Company for 29 years. He was a member of the Queen Street Christian Fellowship Church. An outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, he was also a longtime collector of baseball cards. Jimmy thoroughly enjoyed being a part of Babe Ruth and Little League Baseball teams. Most of all Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his children, family and friends.
He leaves behind a wife of three years, Debra Cockrell Castle of Mt. Sterling; his mother, Emma Miller of Wurtland; three sons, Ryan Castle of New York, Shane Castle of Ashland and Kevin Castle of Cleveland, Ohio; one daughter, Sierra Castle of New York; one stepson, Nathan (Tiffany) of Carlisle; two brothers, Sammy (Cindy) Castle of Worthington and Bobby (Tammy) Castle of Flatwoods; one sister, Lois Miller of Westwood; and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, family and friends all whom will miss him dearly.
He was laid to rest on Thursday, June 27, 2013, at Kennon Cemetery in Clay City.
