ELLIOTT COUNTY — Annetta Gay Payne, 71, of Pickerington, Ohio, passed away Monday, Jan. 13, 2014.

Gay, as she was known to most of those who knew her, was born Oct. 11, 1942, in Elliott County to the late Chauncey and Effie Click Flannery. She was retired from Western Electric and was an auxiliary member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Gay was also preceded in death by her son, Mark David Bowling; husbands Delmas Delmaine Bowling and Jerry Payne; brothers Hartley and Dale Flannery; and three sisters, Madeline Fannin, Juanita Adkins and Aleene McCord.

Gay is survived by her son, Christopher (Teresa) Bowling; a granddaughter, Kathryn Bowling of Columbus, Ohio; and a sister, Odell Weddington of Sandy Hook.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, at Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home in Sandy Hook. Burial will be in Elliott County Memory Gardens in Sandy Hook.
