Patty Lou Luzadder 1931-2014

ASHLAND — Patty Lou Luzadder lost her battle with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and Alzheimer’s disease on the morning of May 28, 2014, in Hobe Sound, Fla.

She was born April 9, 1931, to Ray and Mable Osborne of Akron, Ohio, one of five children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James; and her youngest daughter, Faye.

The family moved to Grafton, W.Va., where she later met and married, James A. Luzadder. Their family moved to Ashland in 1957, where Mr. Luzadder was employed by Ashland Oil.

She was an interior decorator for Sears, an active member of the Ashland Junior Women’s Club and Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of the Hobe Sound Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra Luzadder Wooten of Hobe Sound; her son, Ken Luzadder and his children, Jessica and Taylor of Orlando, Fla.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be forwarded to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 S.E. Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
