ASHLAND — Russell Bradley, 70, of Ashland, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland while surrounded by his loving family.  

He was born June 17, 1942, in Morehead, a son of the late Everett and Myrtle Bradley. He was also preceded in death by his son, Russell Bradley Jr.; two sisters; and four brothers.

Russell was self-employed at Bradley’s Body Shop and B&B Repair as well as Carson’s Auto Sales. He was former president of the Greenbo Archery Club.

In addition to his loving wife, Barbara Bradley, he is survived by two sons, David (Teresa) Bradley and Danny (Debi) Bradley, both of Ashland; four daughters, Penny (PR) Workman of Russell, Lee Ann (Allen) Adkins, Natasha Bradley and Virgie Crank, all of Ashland; two sisters, Frances Bradley of Ashland and Betty Bradley of Russell; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at Evans Funeral Home in Raceland. Burial will be in Old Field Cemetery at Argillite.
