Hilda Faye Clay, 77, of South Point, Ohio, passed away Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, in King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. Hilda was born March 10, 1933, in Ironton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ruben and Stella Kelley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. “Jack” Clay Jr.; her siblings, Mary Willis, Dorothy Donley, Dick Kelley and Bob Kelley.
Hilda is survived by two children, Jacque (Jerry) Tyler and Fred (Irene) Clay, all of South Point, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Matthew (Deleena) Clay, Michael (Aimee) Clay, Jeremy (Amanda) Clay, Traci (Don) Ball, Shari (Russ) Arbogast, Sheila (Scott) Walter, Samantha Markel, Kelley (David) Hughes and Misty (Brian) Wood; 18 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Mabel Coffman, Rose Crisp and Jim (Carol) Kelley.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, at Tri-State Baptist Temple with Pastor Tim Jayne officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens in South Point.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tri-State Baptist Temple in South Point.
