Marsha Lou Moyer Clark - 1948-2014

CATLETTSBURG — Marsha Lou Moyer Clark, 65, of Catlettsburg, went home to be with her Lord on Friday afternoon, June 20, 2014, at her home.

Mrs. Clark was born Dec. 31, 1948, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Andy O. Moyer and Opal Thompson Bryan.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Larry Walker.

Marsha was a 1967 graduate of Boyd County High School and the King’s Daughters School of Radiology. She worked for the Tri-State Regional Cancer Center for 30 years. She enjoyed reading, going to church and spending time with her family. She was a member of Twin Fork Church of the Nazarene, where she taught Sunday school for 20 years. Marsha loved working with children and loved her grandkids, CJ and Madison Johnson.

Marsha leaves behind her loving husband of 46 years, Curtis John Clark; a daughter, Dawn Clark and her fiancé, Rob Tassen, of Huntington; a son, Aaron Clark of Catlettsburg; a brother, James Walker (Earlene) of Catlettsburg; two sisters, Barb Church of Catlettsburg and Marg Wade of Nevis, Minn.; a loving sister-in-law, Genell Walker of New Martinsville, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews she loved dearly.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Twin Fork Church of the Nazarene by Pastor Norman Potter. Final rest will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Kilgore & Collier Funeral Home on Panola Street in Catlettsburg.
