Cassandra “Cassie” Nicole Felty-Craft, 25, of Lloyd, went to be with the Lord Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at her home.
Cassie was born Sept. 9, 1988, in Ashland, a daughter of Lewis Kevin Felty of Oldtown, and Vickie Wright Oreta and her husband, Dr. Dante Oreta, of Greenup.
She was a member of the Lloyd Volunteer Fire Department, which she loved being a part of and was employed with AT&T, as a customer service representative. She had a great love for horses, but her greatest love was for her daughter, Makennah.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Johnny Wright and Luke Felty; and one stepbrother, Michael Oreta.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Steven Craft; one daughter, Makennah Jade Craft, at home; one stepdaughter, Graci Maynard, at home; one sister, Elisa (Colden) Ellerbrock of Greenup; three stepsisters, Cara Oreta of Tennessee, Danna Davis of Florida and Christina Yee of Costa Mesa, Calif.; two stepbrothers, Joey Oreta of Louisville and Danny Oreta of Costa Mesa; maternal grandmother, Doris Wright (Buck) Hannah of Lloyd; paternal grandmother, Bessie Felty of Oldtown; one uncle, Ralph (Doye) Felty of Oldtown; two aunts, Donna (Keith) Nichols of Greenup and Shirley (Randy) Royster of Greenup; and many cousins, family and friends, who will greatly miss her.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Bishop Kevin Witt. Burial will be in the Oldtown Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and one hour before the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
