LOUISA — Dora Mae Adkins Pack Kirk, 86, of Louisa, passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, April 8, 2013, in the J.J. Jordan Geriatric Center in Louisa.

She was born Nov.1, 1926, in Louisa, a daughter of the late George Franklin and Ollie Hewlett Adkins.

She was a retired nurse who worked at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital and Riverview Hospital in Louisa.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Pack; a daughter, Virginia Leah “Sis” Pack; a son, Chester Allen “Chuck” Pack; two sisters, Mary Emily Adkins Burchett and Ollie Myrtle Adkins; and four brothers, Willard Adkins, Ernest Adkins, Ora Willis Adkins and Lawrence Ray Adkins.

Survivors include two daughters, Glenda (Jim) Dotson of Louisa and Beverly L. Pack of Louisa; a son, Bill Jim (Shila) Pack of Louisa; grandchildren Cindy (Jimmy) Shepard, Jimmy (Melissa) Dotson, Angel (Brad) Derifield, Wendy Adkins, Karen Pack, Christy (Jeff) Curnutte, Rick Gussler, Scott Gussler and Kellyn Gussler; and 18 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Greenlawn Cemetery by the Rev. Guy Moyer.
