CATLETTSBURG — Nancy Louise Crank, 63, of Catlettsburg, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday Dec. 5, 2012, in Boyd County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Miss Crank was born June 16, 1949, in Louisa, a daughter of the late Hubert and Geneva Rowe Crank.

Nancy faithfully attended Southside Church of the Nazarene and Oakland Avenue Baptist Church, where she was a member of Annabelle Neal’s class. She was a member of the Kyova Music Association and attended Ashland Adult Day Care.

Nancy won several medals in the Special Olympics, which she was very proud of. She enjoyed coloring, cutting out coupons, crafts, shooting basketball, music and going to basketball games to cheer for both teams. She had a love for children and animals. She collected stuffed animals; her favorite was Barney. Nancy was a blessing to her family and a joy to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.

Nancy is survived by sisters Patty Romer (Joe) of Catlettsburg, Karen Mayse (David) of South Point and Linda Mayse of Catlettsburg; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Crank of Catlettsburg; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brothers Bruce Crank and Bill Crank and a sister, Jo Ann DeBoard.

Funeral services for Miss Crank will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Neal Funeral Home on Center Street in Catlettsburg. The Rev. Jim Webster will officiate and Pastor Frank Hulett will assist. Burial will be in Catlettsburg Cemetery.
