GREENUP — Helen Louise Horsley, 75, of Argillite, went to the Bosom of Abraham on Nov. 26, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Horsley was born Aug. 2, 1937, in Argillite, a daughter of the late Charles Turner and America Fraley Jameson.

She was also preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Earl Breckenridge Horsley; a son, James Monroe (Leslie) Horsley of Argilite; three daughters, Linda (Kermit) Litteral of Argillite, Catherine (Tom) Hettinger of Gillette, Wyo., and Loretta (Ernest David) Burton of Argillite; two sisters, Ella Mae Baldridge of Springboro, Ohio, and Lola Banks of Dayton, Ohio; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Brother Denver Woods and Brother Ernie Melvin. Burial will be in Horsley-Nichols Cemetery in Argillite.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and an hour before services Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made toward funeral expenses.
