IRONTON — Mary Belle Behm, 89, of Ironton, formerly of Gibraltar, Mich., passed away Monday, April 8, 2013, in Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley in Ironton.

Mrs. Behm was born Nov. 25, 1924, in Greenup County, Ky., a daughter of the late Melvin and Luna Coburn Potter.

Mrs. Behm worked at Ford Motor Co. and Ford Credit Union for 35 years. She attended Rockwood First Congregational Church in Rockwood, Mich. Mrs. Behm was a great cook.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Behm; a daughter, Myra Streetman; three brothers, Jim Potter, Willie Potter and Marion Potter; and a sister, Josephine Barney.

She is survived by her nephew, Harry V. “Poochie” Bailey of Ironton, who took care of her for the last 10 years of her life; a daughter, Donna King and her husband, Larry, of Lebanon, Mo., a special neighbor friend, Bonnie Hojnack of Gibraltar; three grandchildren, Nicole Tucker, Chuck King and David King; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Ky.

Entombment will be in Michigan Memorial Park in Flat Rock, Mich.
