William Albert Lozier 1926-2012

GREENUP — William Albert Lozier, 78, of South Shore, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, May 13, 2012, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.

He was born April 13, 1926, at Walsh, a son of the late John Lozier and Mary Jackson Lozier.

He was retired from the former Empire Detroit Steel Mill in New Boston, Ohio, and as a bus driver from the Greenup County School District. He was a member of Harrison Fullerton Masonic Lodge 937 of South Shore, Bennett’s Chapel United Methodist Church and the Steelworkers union.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy Mae Lozier of South Shore; a daughter, Janice Lozier of South Shore; two sons, James Ray Lozier of Akron, Ohio, and William Albert Lozier Jr. of Huntsville, Ala.; four brothers, Wayne Lozier of Leesburg, Fla., Linn Lozier of New Cumberland, W.Va., Don Lozier of Woods and Lakes, Fla., and James W. Lozier of Pinkerton, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Rachael Mae Lozier, Theodore James Lozier and Kiersten Omalise Lozier.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2012, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore by the Rev. Dale Collinsworth. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery in South Shore.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

A Masonic service will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday by Harrison Fullerton Masonic Lodge 937 of South Shore.
