Robert Gary Snoddy
Mr. Robert Gary Snoddy, 69, of York, S.C., died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, in Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel in Rock Hill, S.C., by Pastor Art Gatewood. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park on Cherry Road.
Mr. Snoddy, a native of Ashland, Ky., was a son of the late Phillip K. Snoddy and the late Wahneitta Miller Snoddy. He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Fort Mill, Philanthropic Masonic Lodge 32 and the VFW and was a Shriner. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 22 years and served during Vietnam. He also served in the Presidential Support Service at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland.
Mr. Snoddy is survived by his wife, Sandra E. Plymale Snoddy of the home; his son, William R. Snoddy, and wife Linda of Belmont, N.C.; his daughter, Vickie Smoot, and husband Mike of Fort Mill; his brother, Phillip L. Snoddy, and wife Vonda of Ashley, Ohio; and a grandson, Kevin Smoot of Fort Mill.

Larry K. Wireman (1958-2008)
Larry K. Wireman, 50, of Worthington, Ky., died Thursday, March 27, 2008, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.
He was born Feb. 19, 1958, in Paintsville, Ky., a son of the late Malcom and Roxie Collins Wireman. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Malcom Wireman Jr. and Ronald Wireman, and a sister, Arimine Whitaker.
He was a disabled welder and mechanic and of the Pentecostal faith.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Castle Wireman of Worthington; a son, Curtis (Renee) Wireman of Greenup, Ky.; two grandsons, Lucas and Brandon Wireman; three brothers, Ondia (Cathlene) Wireman of Hueysville, Ky., and Donald (Dorsie) Wireman and Rick (Lula) Wireman, both of Gunlock, Ky.; and five sisters, Mary Lou (Johnie) Justice of Ashland, Ky., Violet Pitts of Paintsville, Ky., Farley (Arnold) Wireman of Gunlock, Carrie (Garland) Joseph of Mount Sterling, Ky., and Molly (Dennis) Sturgill of Tazewell, Tenn.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods by the Rev. Eugene Haney and the Rev. Bobby Castle. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, Ky.

Mary Carleen Wilson (1947-2008)
Mary Carleen Wilson, 60, of Flatwoods, Ky., died March 23, 2008, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
She was born Dec. 3, 1947, in Ironton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Carl F. and Alma Christine Hill Virgin.
She was a retired secretary for the Russell Independent School District and a member of Raceland Christian Church.
Surviving are her husband, James F. Wilson of Flatwoods; a daughter, Amanda “Mandy” L. Wilson of Nashville, Tenn.; a brother, Frank Edward Virgin (Sharon) of Flatwoods; and a sister, Linda Kay (Dave) Burchett of Morehead, Ky.
The funeral will be at 6 p.m. today, March 28, at Raceland Christian Church in Raceland, Ky., by Pastor Jim Matthews.
Visitation will be after 5:30 p.m. at the church.

Carol Ann (Riggle) Burden
Carol Ann (Riggle) Burden, 72, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dawson Lee and Florence Lavinia (Dean) Riggle, and a sister, Beverly Elswick.
She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca “Becca” Burden and Lynn (Daniel) Butler; two grandchildren; a sister, Dolores (J.C. Sr.) Kennard; three nieces; and two nephews.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29, at Parkview United Methodist Church, 344 S. Algonquin Ave., Columbus, Ohio, where the family will receive friends an hour before the service. Pastor Patricia Cook will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association.
