SOUTH POINT — Kenneth Edward Willis, 74, of South Point, died Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at his residence.    

Kenneth was born May 7, 1939, at Washington Court House, a son of the late Joseph C. and Geneva Carrico Willis.  

Kenneth was a retired insurance salesman and U.S. Army veteran.  

He was also preceded in death by a son, Charles E. Willis, and his stepfather, Charles “Pete” Sparling.  

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Lillian Fern Bluebaum Willis; two daughters, Cindy Jefferson and Traci Adkins; four grandchildren, Andrew Travis, Joshua Adkins, Ryan Travis and Rachael Travis; and two great-grandchildren, A.J. Travis and Chelsea Baird.

The funeral will be at noon Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home in Chesapeake. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Ironton.  

Friends may call an hour before services at the funeral home.
