Susan Brannon - 1947-2008
Susan Carol Brannon, 60, of Ashland died Sunday at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. She was born Dec. 6, 1947, in Saugas, Mass., the daughter of the late Charles and Edith Thompson Eaton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Eaton.
Survivors include four daughters, Serena Bailey of Westwood, Cindy Gonzalez of Ashland, Davina Wheeler and Lorie Holbrook, both of Greenup; one sister, Shirley Bowling of Westwood; a brother, Charles Eaton and wife, Cathy, of Wickenburg, Ariz.; one sister-in-law, Judy Eaton of Catlettsburg; 12 grandchildren, Erica Bailey, Justin Bailey, Zachary Branham, Travis Branham Cassie Gonzalez, Rafael Gonzalez, Joseph Salyers, Kaylin Salyers, Adam Salyers, Scarlett Sue Holbrook and Laney Holbrook; four great-grandchildren; former husband, Jerry Brannon of Palestine, Ill.; and a very close family friend, Lea Abrahanson of Ashland.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Potters House of Worship by Pastor Shane Cox.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Potters House of Worship, 6417 U.S. Rt. 60, Ashland, KY 41102.
Miller Funeral Home in Ashland is in charge of the arrangements.

Farris Bradley - 1926-2008
Farris H. Bradley, 82, of Ashland died Sunday, July 6, 2008, at his home. He was born Feb. 11, 1926, in Yatesville, the son of the late Grover and Gypsy Compton Bradley. He was a former Kentucky state trooper and was a retired captain of Police for the Chessie System and was a member of the Jake Rice Masonic Lodge in Blaine for 55 years. He also served his country in the United States Navy during World War II.
He also was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald Bradley, Kenneth Bradley and Henry Bradley; and one sister, Pauline Roberts.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Betty J. Wellman Bradley; a son, Stephen Bradley (Sis) of Ashland; a daughter, Teresa Hamm (Greg) of Ashland; two granddaughters, Rachel Steel Norman (Nathneil) and Stevee Bradley.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home with Pastors Jim Nichols and Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Joyce Baldridge - 1935-2008
Joyce Cavin Baldridge, 72, of Flatwoods died Sunday at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. She was born Aug. 7, 1935 in Flatwoods, the daughter of the late Holly and Beatrice Castle Cavin. She was the wife of the late Raymond Baldridge. She was a homemaker and a member of Wurtland Missionary Baptist Church.
She also was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Hensley.
Survivors include one son, Raymond Grant (Kim) Baldridge of Russell; one brother, James Cavin of Sacramento, Calif.; one sister, Hazel (Wetzel) Lee of Worthington; three grandchildren, Dustin Baldridge of Bardstown and Nick and Molly Baldridge at home; and several nieces and nephews.
She loved her grandchildren.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods, with the Rev. Marvin Boggs officiating. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Barton Little - 1983-2008
Barton David Little, 24, of Flatwoods passed away Sunday, July 6, 2008, from the results of an motorcycle accident. He was born Dec. 25, 1983, a son of Arnold Little of Flatwoods and Betty Dalton of Grayson.
He was a carman with CSX and was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Carman of America and the American Motorcycle Association.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Michael Lutz; and his maternal grandparents, William “Eck” and Allene Dalton.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include one brother, Anthony Little of Grayson; one sister, Lindsey Dalton of Grayson; and his paternal grandmother, Betty Lutz of South Point.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson, with Minister James Harris officiating. Burial will be in Grayson Memorial Burial Park.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Betty Densmore
Betty Ruth Densmore, 78, of Palm Bay, Fla., formerly of Wurtland, died Saturday.
Her husband, Victor Densmore, survives.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. today at Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home in Melbourne, Fla. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Gainesville, Fla.
Visitation will be two hours before the service today at the funeral home.

Ellen Miller - 1932-2008
Euthia Ellen Combs Miller, 76, of Grayson died Saturday at Wurtland Manor in Wurtland.
She was born March 31, 1932, in Hazard.
Her husband, Carmel King, preceded her in death.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. today at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m. today at Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson.

Mark Pyle
Mark Edward Pyle, 45, of Olive Hill died Monday at his home.

Jacob Tackett - 2000-2008
Jacob Ethan Tackett, 8, of Vanceburg died Sunday.
He was born May 30, 2000, in Portsmouth, Ohio.

Glennis Hitch - 1959-2008
Glennis Marvin Hitch, 48, of Morehead died Sunday at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
He was born July 11, 1959.
His wife, Patricia Lyn Black Hitch, survives.

John Kitchen - 1937-2008
John Kitchen, 71, of Grayson died Saturday at the home of his son in Grayson.
He was born May 25, 1937, in Carter County.

Stella Margaret Stumbo, 92, of Harold died Sunday at Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg.
Her husband, John W. Stumbo, preceded her in death.

Grace L. Sites
Grace L. Sites, 83, of Elliott County, formerly of Columbus, Ohio, died Saturday in the Elliott County Nursing and Rehab Center in Sandy Hook.
She was born Dec. 29, 1923.
Her husband, Frank Sites, preceded her in death.
Funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Johnson & Smith Funeral Home in Baltimore, Ohio.

William McDonie - 1923-2008
William Ormand McDonie, 84, of Kitts Hill died Sunday at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
He was born Dec. 10, 1923, in Ironton.
His wife, Mae Marie Webb McDonie, survives.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Storms Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Coryville (Ironton). Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.

Walter Disney - 1945-2008
Walter Rhea Disney, 62, of Ironton died Sunday at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, W.Va.
He was born Dec. 14, 1945, in Louisville.
His wife, Kathryn Lockwood Disney, survives.
Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Haverhill Cemetery in Haverhill.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home in Ironton.

Pauline Whaley - 1923-2008
Pauline L. Whaley, 85, of Ironton died Sunday at Jo-Lin Health Care Center in Ironton.
She was born Jan. 6, 1923, in Troy, Ohio.
Her husband, Louis F. Whaley, survives.
Graveside service will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Woodland Cemetery, Section B, in Ironton.
There will be no visitation.
