Don Maynard
Don Maynard, age 72, died at his home in Bradenton, Fla., on May 3, 2008.
He was retired from AK Steel.
He is survived by his wife, Suellen; daughters, Leslie Stewart of Ashland and Crystal Showalter (husband Mark) of Georgetown; four grandchildren, Jessica, Jack, Sam and Ellie; and a great-grandchild, Dravin.
A celebration of life gathering for family and friends will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

James Wages
James L. Wages, 62, of Grayson, died Thursday in King’s Daughters Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Jason Applegate (1976-2008)
Jason Jared Applegate, 32, of Vanceburg, died Friday at his residence.
He was born Jan. 8, 1976, in Portsmouth, Ohio.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg. Burial will be in Riley Cemetery in Trace Fork.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday and at 8 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Danny “Bubba” Kendrick
Danny “Bubba” Kendrick, 39, of Pikeville, died Wednesday.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Pikeville Funeral Home.
