They helped write a previously unwritten language and wrote language books such as easy readers, stories and practical books. Scripture portions have been drafted for half of the New Testament with significant Old Testament portions also drafted.
Philip was a great thinker who learned by doing. It helped him to understand language by taking it all apart and putting it back together much like a jigsaw puzzle. His 715-page grammar of the Tazlan language was published in April 2008. Three other books that he edited or contributed to while undergoing chemotherapy are forthcoming.
