Ruth Stapleton - 1926-2009

Ruth Eloise Hall Stapleton, 83, of South Point, Ohio, died Tuesday at her residence.

She was born March 2, 1926, in Catlettsburg.

Her husband, Otto W. Stapleton, died in 2003.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Neal Funeral Home in Catlettsburg. Burial at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.



Juanita Hale

Juanita Hale, 56, of London, Ohio, formerly of South Shore, died Wednesday in Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore is in charge of arrangements, which are pending.



John Roe Sr. - 1936-2009

John Henry Roe Sr., 72, of Olive Hill, died Tuesday in Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grayson.

He was born Aug. 28, 1936, in Carter County.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill. Burial will be in Easterling Cemetery in Olive Hill.

Mabel Clester - 1934-2009

Mabel Clester, 75, of Blaine, died Tuesday in Paul B. Hall Medical Center in Paintsville.

She was born Feb. 13, 1934, in Blaine.

The funeral was at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Big Blaine United Baptist Church in Mazie. Burial was in Cantrell Family Cemetery in Blaine.

Susie Wright - 1916-2009

Susie Wright, 92, of Martin, died Tuesday at her residence.

She was born Dec. 21, 1916, in Prestonsburg.

Her husband, George S. Wright, preceded her in death.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home in Martin. Burial will be in Wright Cemetery in Martin.



Elizabeth Burton - 1912-2009

Elizabeth Stumbo Burton, 97, of Minnie, wife of the late Glen Burton, died Wednesday in Riverview Health Care in Prestonsburg.

She was born April 12, 1912, in Minnie.
