Gregory Rowland Harris
Gregory Rowland Harris, 21, of Land O’Lakes, Fla., passed away Sunday, April 6, 2008.
He was born in Lexington, Ky., and moved to Florida from Winchester, Ky., in 1996. He was baptized in the Methodist faith and attended Land O’Lakes High School. He enjoyed fishing, sports and playing basketball. He was preceded in death by his brother, Cole Michael Harris, and his paternal grandparents, Charles and Martha Harris.
He is survived by his parents, Greg and Karla Harris of Land O’Lakes; his maternal grandparents, Henry and Doris Waits of Lexington; uncles and aunts Ernest F. “Frank” Harris, Herman and Gaythal Harris, Jeff and Betsey Walker, David and Karen Baumgarnder, Beverly Bringer, Jr. and Beulah Coburn, Nancy Rowland, Keith and Judy Penner and Mable Hall; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2008, at Reed Funeral Home, 612 Main St., Greenup, Ky., (606) 473-9060, by Dr. Harold Dorsey.
Burial will be in Harris Cemetery at Load, Ky.
Family will receive friends after 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Margaret Walker - 1926-2008
Margaret Walker, 81, of Wurtland, Ky., went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 7, 2008, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.
Mrs. Walker was born May 10, 1926, in Lawton, Okla., a daughter of the late James F. and Florence Henderson Cothren. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph M. Walker, and two sons, Ralph Edward Walker and Danny Walker.
She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Wurtland.
Surviving are five daughters, Patricia White of Maysville, Ky., Barbara Walker of Daleville, Ala., Kathleen Combs of Flatwoods, Ky., Tammy Cannon of Severn, Md., and Rhonda Walker of Wurtland; four sons, Clarence Walker, Joe Walker, Mark Walker and Tim Walker, all of Wurtland; three sisters, Annie Boucher and Edith Boyd, both of Lawton, Okla., and Emma Hensley of Alliance, Ohio; a brother, Albert Cothren of Freemont, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2008, at Evans Funeral Home in Raceland, Ky., by Kenny Ball. Burial will be in Walker Cemetery in Raceland.

James Walter Sullivan - 1921-2008
James Walter Sullivan, 86, of Grayson, Ky., went to be with his Lord on Monday, April 7, 2008, in Liberty Nursing Home in Wheelersburg, Ohio.
He was born June 1, 1921, in Carter County, Ky., a son of the late Mary Sullivan.
He was retired from Grayson Rural Electric Co. and was a farmer. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Iona Kitchen Virgin and Mabel Gose; a brother, Ed Sullivan; and a grandson, Roy Lee Newland Jr.
His survivors include his wife of 62 years, Delphia Kibbey Sullivan of Grayson; six daughters, Minnie Inez Sullivan of Grayson, Wilma Blankenship of Ashland, Pauline White of Ashland, Hazel (and Randy) Boggs of Greenup, Ky., Edna Fraley of Grayson and Christine (and Jack) Leadingham of Grayson; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 10, 200, at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson. Burial will be in Sullivan Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today, April 9, at the funeral home.

Frances Evans - 1929-2008
Frances Evans, 78, of Ashland, widow of Hiram Evans, died Tuesday in Wurtland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Preston Family Funeral Home in Ashland. Burial will be in McCalvin Cemetery.

Mary Barrow
Mary Barrow, 74, of Ashland, died Tuesday in King’s Daughters Medical Center.

Hazel Osborne
Hazel M. Worthington Osborne, 79, of Cleveland, formerly of Greenup County, died Saturday at her residence.

Maxine Mason - 1932-2008
Maxine Mason, 76, of West Liberty, died Sunday in King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
She was born Jan. 28, 1932, in Crockett.
Her husband, Stonewall “Stoney” Mason, survives.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Potter Funeral Home in West Liberty. Burial will be in Elliott County Memory Gardens in Sandy Hook.

Wanda Smith
Wanda M. Smith, 53, of Gary, Ind., formerly of Morgan County, died Saturday in Chicago.
Her husband, Sam Smith, survives.

Mary Mulkey
Mary Ellen Mulkey, 90, of Banner, widow of Isaac Lee Mulkey, died Tuesday in Prestonsburg Health Care Center in Prestonsburg.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home in Martin. Burial will be in Akers Cemetery at Prater.

Franklin Catron
Franklin Catron, 73, of Morehead, died Tuesday in St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
He was the husband of Charlene Catron.

Robert Easterling - 1941-2008
Robert H. Easterling, 67, of Blairs Mill, died Tuesday in Morgan County Appalachian Regional Hospital in West Liberty.
He was born March 10, 1941.
His wife, Janice Easterling, survives.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Burial will be in Blair Cemetery at Blairs Mill.

Deborah Hatfield
Deborah Lewis Hatfield, 43, of Denver, died Tuesday in Ashland.
She is survived by her husband, Tony Hatfield.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Little Mud Lick Church of God in Staffordsville. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Staffordsville.
