The Eastern Kentucky Summer Baseball League Tournament has reached its final day of play.
As of late Saturday night, the four teams remaining were Lawrence County, Johnson Central, Greenup County and Boyd County.
Lawrence County and Johnson Central played the final game on Saturday to determine which team would fall into the loser’s bracket in the double-elimination tournament.
Greenup County and Boyd County will kick off today’s action at 10 a.m. The championship game is slated for 3 p.m., with a possible rematch set to immediately follow.
The nine-team league is comprised of high school players who will be returning next season.
