Pairings set for 61st, 63rd Districts

RUSSELL — Pairings for the 61st and 63rd District boys and girls basketball tournaments have been determined, based on seeding.

Russell High School will host the 63rd, which begins on Monday, Feb. 24, and concludes on Friday, Feb. 28.

The 63rd District schedule:

-Monday, Feb. 24 (girls): Lewis County-Raceland, 6 p.m.; Russell-Greenup County, 8 p.m.

-Tuesday, Feb. 25 (boys): Lewis County-Russell, 7 p.m.

-Wednesday, Feb. 26 (boys): Raceland-Greenup County, 7 p.m.

-Thursday, Feb. 27 (girls): Championship game, 7 p.m.

-Friday, Feb. 28 (boys): Championship game, 7 p.m.

Fleming County High School will hold the 61st District tournament. Its schedule:

-Monday, Feb. 24 (girls): Fleming County-Menifee County, 6 p.m.; Bath County-Rowan County, 7:30 p.m.

-Tuesday, Feb. 25 (boys): Fleming County-Menifee County, 6 p.m.; Rowan County-Bath County, 7:30 p.m.

-Thursday, Feb. 27 (girls): Championship game, 7 p.m.

-Friday, Feb. 28 (boys): Championship game, 7 p.m.
