Aaron Elam drove in four runs as Ashland Post 76 used a 6-3 win over Shelbyville Post 37 late Wednesday night to force a final game for the American Legion District 4 championship.
The teams will meet again today at 1 p.m. in Central Park for the title.
Both have locked up spots in the State Tournament at Campbellsville.
Elam went 3-for-5 and also scored a run. He hit RBI singles in the third and sixth innings, and drove in two with another single in the seventh.
Sammy Holder scored three runs and Logan Salow two for the Sixers, who improved to 21-13-2.
Post 76 starter Nick Thompson picked up the victory, with Robert Griffith taking over in the eighth to earn a save.
Shelbyville outhit Ashland 11-7, with Will McDonald going 3-for-3.
