WESTWOOD Fairview’s offense needed just two innings to dispose of Elliott County on Friday night.

The Lady Eagles (2-2) put up 14 runs in the first and seven more in the second inning as Tayler Thompson pitched a no hitter. She faced 10 batters, striking out nine and walking one.

Becca Thompson cranked a grand slam to highlight the outpouring of runs in the first frame.

Both Maddie Kirk and Sarah Dunn went 3-for-3. Kirk drove in three runs, and Dunn one.

Katie Ritchie went 2-for-3 with four RBIs. Kara Adkins was also 2-for-3.

Fairview heads to Ironton on Thursday.
