PREP ROUNDUP: Kelly leads Rams’ 65-42 rout of Bath

Dawgs, Lady Royals cruise

OWINGSVILLE — Raceland improved to 13-9 on the season with a 65-42 rout of Bath County on Saturday night.

Zach Kelly parked four 3-pointers en route to a 20-point effort. Jacob Blair added 15 and Tyler Morris 10 for the Rams.

Blake Maze led Bath County (6-19) with 13 points.

Raceland hosts East Carter on Tuesday.

PIPPA PASSES Timmy and Robert Dalton combined for 37 points, just one fewer point than June Buchanan’s total on Saturday.

Lawrence County moved its record to 17-8 behind the Daltons — Timmy scored 20 points and Robert netted 17.

Brandon Richardson hit a pair of 3-pointers and tallied 11 points.

Princewell Anisoke led June Buchanan (6-16) with 11 points.

The Bulldogs travel to Pike County Central on Thursday.

ASHLAND The game was over by halftime, as Rose Hill surged to a 32-14 lead by the break.

Riverside Christian (0-11) managed just 26 points, 12 of them coming from Katie Haddix. The team played just five players.

Rose Hill (5-14) got 12 points from Myriah Porter, 11 from Kendra Steele and 10 from Kristen Wehmeier. Wehmeier also grabbed 15 rebounds.

Porter added eight rebounds and five assists to her stat line.

Freshman Natalie Fyffe had eight boards for the Lady Royals, who host Ashland on Monday.
