Marshall football game times set

HUNTINGTON — Times have now been set for all 12 of Marshall's 2008 football games.

The Thundering Herd's annual matchup with West Virginia has been set for 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 27 in Morgantown. That game is being televised by ESPN Regional Television.

Other games that only recently had their start times set are the Herd's away games at Wisconsin, Southern Miss and Rice. The Sept. 6 game with Wisconsin will have a noon start time, the Sept. 20 Southern Miss matchup begins at 3:30 and the Nov. 22 Rice game is at 3.

Marshall opens the season Aug. 30 at home against Illinois State. That game begins at 4:30.

The rest of the Herd schedule includes home games with Memphis, Cincinnati, Houston, Central Florida and Tulsa and away games against UAB and East Carolina.
