Raceland hosted Rose Hill Christian in a softball doubleheader on Monday night as the two teams split games.
Rose Hill took the first game 6-3 and Raceland won the second game 13-1.
Paige Vanhoose struck out 11 batters for Raceland in the first game, but the Lady Royals still pushed six runs across the plate.
Courtney Hammond led the Rose Hill bats with a two-run double in the third inning.
Every member of Raceland’s lineup scored in the second inning of the second game. Chloe Adkins earned her first career varsity victory for the Lady Rams.
Adkins and Kasey Lewis combined to allow just one run on one hit.
Vanhoose went 4-for-5 with three RBIs to lead the offense.

WESTWOOD Hannah Daniel pitched a complete game three-hitter to lead Fairview over Greenup County, 2-1, on Monday.
Daniel struck out 15 batters and only allowed one walk. She gave up the Lady Musketeers’ only run in the top of the seventh inning.
Fairview’s offense struck in the bottom of the sixth. Sierra Manier hit a two-run double to bring Morgan Riffe and Elizabeth Moore across the plate to give the Lady Eagles the lead for good.
Manier went 2-for-3 to lead Fairview, which improved to 9-11 with the win. Greenup County dropped to 6-14.

Royals win 2
ASHLAND Rose Hill took both games from Magoffin County in a doubleheader played on Saturday in Central Park.
Andrew Porter and Wesley Hunley battled in the day’s first game. Each pitched a complete game, but Porter emerged as the winner.
Connor Robinson drove in two runs while Matt Fultz, Troy Huffine and Ethan Parsons each contributed two hits to lead the Royals’ offense.
In the second game, Magoffin County struck first with a run in the first inning, but the Royals soon made up for it. They scored in the second and then added three more in the third.
Four players had at least two hits with Jacob Mullen leading the hit parade with three.
Taylor Young pitched a complete game for the Royals.
