OLIVE HILL —
Kentucky State Police at Ashland on Monday arrested two after raiding a suspected methamphetamine lab in the Olive Hill area.
Phillip Z. Zornes, 22, and Athena B. Owens, 25, both of Olive Hill, were charged with manufacturing meth and first-degree drug possession, the KSP said.
According to the KSP, troopers received a tip of a suspected meth lab in a residence on Blueberry Ridge.
Troopers found a working meth lab in the home, along with several precursors used to manufacture the drug and a small amount of finished product.
The KSP Drug Enforcement Special Investigation Unit and Olive Hill Police Department also assisted.
